Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is Skatrium?

Skatrium is a global platform for roller skating events, Skate DJs, and skate-related shops.

It helps skaters discover what’s happening around the world, connect with DJs, and find skate businesses — all in one dedicated space built for the skating community.

Skatrium acts as a discovery and promotional platform. We do not organise, manage, or operate events, DJ services, or shops.

Who is Skatrium for?

Skatrium is for:

  • Roller skaters looking for events near them or abroad

  • Event organisers promoting skate sessions, parties, and festivals

  • Skate DJs showcasing their services

  • Skate shops (online or physical) connecting with the skating community

  • Anyone who loves skating culture and wants to stay connected globally

If it rolls, glides, or vibes — you’re in the right place.

Is Skatrium global?

Yes. Skatrium is built for the global roller skating community — whether you're skating locally or travelling internationally.

You can discover events, DJs, and skate shops from around the world.

What kind of events can be listed?

Skatrium focuses on roller skating events, including:

  • Skate parties and socials

  • Workshops and classes

  • Festivals and takeovers

  • Pop-ups, jams, and community sessions

Events can be indoor or outdoor, beginner-friendly or advanced — as long as they’re skate-focused.

Can Skate DJs create profiles?

Yes. Skate DJs can create dedicated profiles to:

  • Showcase their style and experience

  • Share social media and contact information

  • Promote availability for bookings

Skatrium does not manage DJ bookings directly. All agreements and payments are handled between DJs and their clients.

Can skate shops be listed?

Yes. Both online and physical skate shops can create listings to:

  • Showcase their brand and products

  • Share contact details and website links

  • Connect with skaters worldwide

Skatrium does not sell products, process payments, manage shipping, or handle returns. All transactions occur directly between customers and shops.

Is Skatrium free to use?

Yes. Browsing events, DJs, and shop listings is free for skaters.

Organisers, Skate DJs, and skate shops can create listings to reach a wider audience. Pricing and feature options are available within the app.

How do I find events, DJs, or shops near me?

You can browse and filter by:

  • Location

  • Date (for events)

  • Event type

  • Profile category

This makes it easy to plan local sessions, travel experiences, or discover new skating businesses.

How do I submit an event or create a profile?

Organisers, Skate DJs, and skate shops can register and create listings directly through the platform.

Submissions may be reviewed to ensure they align with Skatrium’s focus on roller skating and community standards.

Can I save or favourite listings?

Yes. You can favourite events and profiles you’re interested in and return to them anytime — perfect for planning trips, weekends, bookings, or skate holidays.

How do profiles work?

Skatrium provides dedicated profile spaces for organisers, DJs, and skate shops.

Profiles allow users to:

  • Share listings and updates

  • Build credibility through reviews

  • Be discovered by skaters worldwide

Each listing owner is responsible for keeping their information accurate and up to date.

Can skaters leave reviews?

Yes. Skaters can leave 5-star reviews for events, organisers, and Skate DJs to help the community make informed decisions and highlight great experiences.

Skatrium monitors reviews to maintain community standards and may remove content that breaches guidelines.

Does Skatrium run or manage events, DJs, or shops?

No. Skatrium does not organise, manage, represent, or operate events, Skate DJs, skating rinks, or skate shops.

All events, DJ services, and retail businesses are run independently by their respective organisers, professionals, or shop owners.

Skatrium acts solely as a discovery and promotional platform.

We do not accept responsibility or liability for:

  • The safety, conduct, or logistics of events

  • DJ services, bookings, or performance outcomes

  • Products sold by listed shops

  • Transactions between users and third parties

For any questions, disputes, or claims, users must contact the relevant organiser, DJ, or shop directly.

How can I get support or report an issue?

You can reach out through the contact page in the app or website.

We’re community-led and always open to feedback that helps Skatrium grow better for skaters worldwide.
